I <3 New Hampshire

Friday morning I went to get Shawn and we went CAMPING! Well... first we went to see what's left of The Old Man in the Mountain, and Eagle's Bluff (or whatever it's called- it looks like an eagle). Somehow, we ended up in Vermont. Seventy miles south of Canada. I wish we went to Canada. I like Canadian things.

We got to the campground and it was POURING rain out... but we decided to set up the tent anyways... and of course we both looked like drowned rats. After we were done what else should we do once it clears up? Jump in the river as we are... fully clothed and soaked. After we got out we hung around a bit, cooked dinner, and went to bed early.

I woke up at the ass crack of dawn on Saturday morning, and after showers and stuff we went to climb Mt. Washington on The Cog. That thing is fucking scary! Going up was scary just because I am afraid of heights. We got up there, took some pictures, and got back on The Cog to go down. Well... about 500 feet from the top one of the workers has to switch some track so we can go the right way... we jumped off track. I almost cried, I thought I was going to die. It was so scary! After they got it fixed we got down the mountain and I was never so happy to put my feet on solid ground.

It was early afternoon and we decided to go into North Conway for lunch and shopping. We had lunch at Friendly's and their service was RIDICULOUSLY fast... faster than like McDonald's. It was crazy! After lunch we went to the North Conway outlets and walked around some stores, Shawn got sneakers and I didn't see anything that I wanted, so we decided to leave. I wanted to go see the Conway Scenic Railroad Station... and we decided to do the sunset tour. It was nice!

After the train we went back to the campsite and cooked dinner. It was nasty. We burned it and went to Wendy's. We got into a fight on the way (it was so stupid that it's not worth talking about) anyways, we worked it out. And we got back to the site and sat around the fire. I was ready for bed by 11. So we went to bed.

We slept later on Sunday because we could actually sleep (the first night was rough being on an air mattress and all.) When we got up we packed up and checked out.

We went into North Conway again to walk around the shops and tried to find our way to Clark's Trading Post in Littleton, NH. Somehow, we made it! We took a ride in the cab of their train (can you tell that trains are popular??) and saw a bear show. THEY WERE SOOOOO CUTE!!! We walked in and out of each building then went to the actual trading post and bought some cute things.

Then it was time to head home. We were almost there when we stopped in Nashua, NH to get dinner at Bertucci's and Home Depot for Shawn to check his schedule. We got back to his house and I dropped him off. I really almost started to cry when I left. This weekend was so amazing I didn't want it to end. :(  Click below for pictures....
